With the release of the new A57 earlier this year, OPPO added another stunning yet affordable smartphone to its A series collection.

High-speed charging and long-lasting battery

While a smartphone is everyone’s best friend, especially on days off, pausing your leisure time to charge can sometimes be bothersome. With its 33W superfast charge, the new OPPO A57 solves any worries about wasting time on charging the battery. Also, enjoy streaming your favorite songs and movies all day long with this smartphone’s massive 5000mAh battery.

Fifteen minutes of charging will give you over 4 hours of video streaming and 30 minutes for over 50% of charge already.

Meanwhile, the A57 can operate for up to 12 days on standby when fully charged. This smartphone is definitely worth purchasing for people always on the go.

Dual speakers and quality sound

Feel the rhythm and groove to high-quality sound anywhere (and everywhere) with A57’s Dual Stereo Speakers.

Experience industry-leading stereo quality sound and exclusive technology from Dirac 3.0. Want to pump up the volume still? This smartphone also features a Super or Ultra Volume Mode, which boosts levels by nearly 100%, providing clearer sounds for people who want to drown out noise pollution. With this, you can watch a film without straining your ears trying to understand the dialogue.

The OPPO A57 has a dual-rear camera —a 13 MP, 26mm f/2.2 main camera, and a 2 MP f/2.4 (depth). In front, it has an 8MP f/2.0 for selfies and video calls.

With A57’s AI Portrait Retouching, you can edit photos to your liking with ease. Despite its 13MP resolution, our review unit produced decent photos, especially when there is enough light. The Night Mode is okay, too, but don’t expect National Geographic-standards.

There is also no need to worry about deleting files (and apps) with either 64GB or 128GB of expandable storage. With FlexDrop, maneuver smoothly between multiple apps and windows while finishing tasks.

The OPPO A57 is powered by a MediaTek MT6765G Helio G35 chipset, a 2.3GHz octa-core processor, and a PowerVR GE8320 GPU. Our unit comes with 64GB of storage and 4GB of RAM.

Social media use is a breeze with the A57, and light gaming, too (Mobile Legends or Call of Duty: Mobile). Just don’t expect the same when playing games with heavy graphics for long periods of time.

The design is where OPPO A57 stands out.

The A57 flaunts its ultra-slim and shimmering colors, available in glowing black and glowing green. Our review unit is the black one, but if the Glowing Green is available at your favorite online shops, go for that one!

Designed to be premium, the affordable smartphone is dependable with IPX4 Water Resistance and IP5X Dust Resistance.

Be fearless as this smartphone is scratch resistant with 20,000 USB Plug-In Stress Tests, 150,000 Volume Button Stress Tests, and 500,000 Power Button Stress Tests. On the side, the A57 has a modern side fingerprint unlock for security.

People tend to overlook eye comfort when purchasing a phone because they are more concerned with the price and display of the device. Since most of us spend more than 12 hours a day on our devices, we must also remember to protect our eyes. The A57 has a vibrant, Color-Rich Display that brings images and videos to life and is also designed to reduce eye strain with its Al Eye Comfort and blue light reduction features.

Ever feared that strangers might already be viewing your personal data? The privacy features of A57 help lessen your privacy concerns with Privacy Dashboard and Photo Data Privacy. With Privacy Dashboard, you can review which apps have accessed your personal data in the past 24 hours, while Photo Data Privacy ensures the safe sharing of photos by removing geographic and other personal data.

The A57 runs on an Octa-Core Processor ColorOS 12.1 software with 4GB of RAM, priced at P8,999.00 for 64GB and P10,999.00 for 128GB.

The OPPO A57 won’t blow your socks off and it’s understandable. But its chic looks, huge battery, fast charging and nice video streaming without putting a strain on your eyes and ears for those long Netflix binging moments, make it a very good buy.
