The duo also added sunnies to their newest collection together.

Footwear brand Giaborghini's approach to fashion collaborations feels entirely organic. Designer and founder Barbara Borghini continues relationships with the women she partners with for continuous drops. And she chooses women who uniquely mirror the brand's aesthetic with their own personal styles. Which brings us to the here and now: The brand is launching eyewear, tech accessories, and bags for the first time as part of its Collection 3 with Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

"The carryalls and sunglasses felt like an organic progression from our footwear collections. We integrated these into the main collection to offer the GIA/RHW customer an extension of Rosie's lifestyle and natural elegance that complement the shoes," Borghini tells BAZAAR.com.

The collection includes iPhone and AirPod cases, a wooden clutch, a belt bag, a doctor bag style, one smaller handbag, and a sunglasses style available in five shades.

So why expand now? "There was a demand from Rosie's audience, so it felt natural to open the door to a new product category," the designer continues. "In current times, women need support in their work-life balance, and carryalls are the perfect answer to have constant access to all that they need to work, be a mum, enjoy leisure time."

Below, Huntington-Whiteley shares how she's getting dressed for summer; her inspiration for the latest categories, including her love of interior design; and why this drop was actually a long time coming.

I was inspired by everyday women around me. Whether it’s my girlfriends, women I work with or see on Instagram, on the streets. We wanted to create something chic, yet practical by design, for someone who is on the go and needs hardworking accessories for their modern lives. When it came to finding beautifully designed accessories for my tech, everything seemed to lead with function first, design second. Also, there are so many beautiful minimal brands on the market, so we wanted to create something fun and different that makes a statement and complements the minimal look.

In terms of materials, Barbara and I share a passion for interior design, so naturally we looked at different spaces that inspire us. Translated into this collection, you’ll find materials like travertine, marble, linen, radica wood, which are quite unexpected to use in accessories, but we loved the challenge, and the team worked so hard to find the right artisans in Italy to achieve the most beautiful quality. I like that some pieces could also be a beautiful object, like our box clutch.

I learned that it is important to see and try on the prototype before completely canceling the style. Sometimes you will be surprised how differently things turn out in real life. My style is more understated and classic, but after working together for four seasons now, everything is very seamless, and I am more open to experimenting with unexpected color and materials.

This summer is all about ease for me. Being at the stage of my life, as a mother of two with multiple businesses to run, I want everyday dressing-up to be effortless and quick. In fact, I was telling the team at our last design meeting that the new sandals we’re designing have to be slides without any extra buckles, because you just want to jump in your shoes and go.

I love the box clutch in travertine. It was inspired by the materials used in my home in L.A. It has a delicate gold chain that I like to wrap around my wrist, so it looks like a piece of jewelry. I wore it on my recent trip, and all the kids at the dinner were asking me about it, which I thought was quite amusing.

I have been collecting inspiration for bags and a small leather goods line for years, so when Barbara and I brainstormed about new categories to explore, it was a natural evolution of my collaboration with Giaborghini. It was the perfect timing as people are out and about again, and looking for something new to covet.
